How to Plan the Perfect Road Trip Q&A
Hello we are Carla and Luis.
After nearly a year planning this trip, the day finally came and we hit the road:
Viana do Castelo - Vigo - Cies Islands - Santiago de Compostela - A Coruña - Asturias - Gijón - Santander - Bilbao - Burgos - Madrid - Toledo - Granada - Motril - Málaga - Gibraltar - Seville - Faro - Sagres - Sintra - Ericeira - Vila Real
This was the initial plan (https://www.instagram.com/p/BD5PleFKsc1/)
We left on the 30th of May and reached 23 June, a total of 25 days and 4650Km then, here is a small, a very small sample of what was this trip full of adventures and misadventures with plenty of sunshine, long walks, incredible
landscapes, breakdowns, hospitals, sleepless nights, but this because we slept almost always in the van, on beaches and campsites. An experience that will come back to repeat.
Here's a little Q&A
How many days lasted Roadtrip? -25 days
When money spent? -about 500€ each
What you ate? - fruit, vegetables, sandwiches and pasta.
How do you take bath? -In beach showers, at campsites or municipal swimming pools
And toilet? -closer cafes or toilet beaches
Where you slept? -In a Renault Megane Break
in car parks, we used the Park4night app (http://tinyurl.com/zposx2z)
also we stayed in some camping and some AirBnB apartments
Have you had a problem for sleeping in public places? -no, no problems at all, or problems with the police
How do you charge mobile phone batteries, camera, etc? -We use a solar panel for USB devices (http://tinyurl.com/suaoki)
and power converter (http://tinyurl.com/hugyxwj)
