El Caminito del Rey path is a walkway, pinned along the steep walls of a narrow gorge in El Chorro, near Ardales in the province of Málaga, Spain.

After 4 years of extensive repairs and renovations, the walkway re-opened in 2015. It has been known in the past as the "world's most dangerous walkway" following five deaths in 1999 and 2000. The path can be crossed in only one direction, from Ardales, in the north to Álora, in the south. The whole trek is 7.7km in length, 4.8 km of these are access routes and 2.9km from one end of the hanging walkway to the other. This breathtaking walkway in certain areas reach 100 metres above the Guadalhorce river. You can buy the tickets here or at the entry (bus included to the return).

After visited El Caminito de Rey, strongly recommend take a good rest at La Isla del Chorro, near Camping Park of Ardales. A beautiful artificial lake created by a dam of the Guadalhorce river. For more information about the Caminito del Rey please visit the oficial site.
