Sea Cave in Benagil Beach

Benagil Beach is a lovely beach at the bottom of a steep valley, next to a fishing village, in Algarve, the south region of Portugal.

On this beach there is the possibility of renting boats to go to some isolated beaches. The most famous is the Algar de Benagil, a natural cavity formed by the erosion of wind and water.

How to get to Algar de Benagil?

The access is made only by water. You can go by boat, kayak or swim. But the perfect thing is to go swimming. It is about 50m and in less than 5 minutes you reach one of the most beautiful beaches in the world at zero cost.

You can also spend the night near Marinha Beach, where there is a big Van Community. You can use the Park4night app to locate the spot.
